The general management of the National Agency for Support to the Development of Territorial Collectivities (ADCT) has initiated a series of training sessions for the benefit of its agents which will be held from February 15 to 19, 2021. In the city of the red rider, the administrators, secretaries and drivers will see their capacities strengthened. The training opening ceremony took place on Monday, February 15, 2021.
In order to properly fulfill its new role, ADCT has undertaken a capacity building of human resources. According to its managing director Bruno Dipama, "this is the key to going far." It is therefore for the sake of enabling its structure to achieve edifying results that the training courses are held. The first batch of trained is the group of administrators. "We initiated this training to build the capacity of administrators in the audit field," said the chairman of the board of directors of ADCT, Jean-Noël Sawadogo.
It is also the logical continuation of a training they have already received last year in the preparation and analysis of financial statements. Through this session, they will have notions in the assessment of risks related to the execution of the activities of the agency. Bruno Dipama thus wants to offer complete training to his agents. "The training will consist in offering the necessary tools to the administrators so that they can properly appreciate the various documents that the internal auditor summons them", explained Jean-Noël Sawadogo.
"Secretaries are pivotal points within structures"
The second group of ADCT officers who benefit from these trainings are the accounting secretaries. At this level, training will focus on secretarial management. “Secretaries are pivotal points within structures. At ADCT, they are not simple secretaries but accounting secretaries. They must then be doubly equipped, ”said Bruno Dipama. This training will offer notions to secretaries in the areas of management, the relationship between secretary and boss, welcoming visitors and managing documents.
The last batch is that of the drivers. According to the director general of ADCT, they "will be trained in defensive driving techniques". Concretely, it is a question of offering concepts in first aid and accident prevention rules. After this step, they will be tested in the field in order to benefit from practical notions in defensive driving. This is so that they have good reflexes if a security problem arises.
Through these trainings, Bruno Dipama aims for a long term objective. "We will continue in this dynamic so that whatever results we will demand from any component of human resources, we are sure that these results will be achieved," he implied.
On the side of the ADCT agents, we welcome the holding of these trainings. "We think this is really useful for the agency," said Aminata Bénao, agent in the office of the director general.
